Bar stool & foot stool have been picked up. He droped of a rocking chair for me to strip, repair and refinish. I got it stripped tonight.

Plastered picture frame turned out fine. It has a nice beveled mirror in it.

Daughter and family got moved. I still have to fix their dinning tale base.

Ice box lady has not shown up yet.

Planter boxes I picked up some ceramic tile and have laminated them to 4 pieces of 3/8" plywood. I grouted the tile tonight. I will use these ceramic tile panels for the front and backs of the planter boxes. Not sure exactly what I am doing on these. I am sure they will be great. I may support several boards on the edges of the planters for seating. The ceramic cost $8.00 and grout about $3.00 the plywood was scrap.

Antique Wardrobe. This item is done and delivered. They like it very much and have it all put together, TV, Stereo etc. They next would like a church pew for the living room refinished. They are waiting for the antique dealer to get back from England with his next load. It is not easy to find anything nice out the now days. His things may not be American but he has some great primitives which are hard to find in this part of the country any more for any price.

Bar stool & foot stool Are done and they said they would pick it on next Tue.

Krout cutter coffee table is done and in the house.

Plastered picture frame. I have the first coat of polyurethane on it. I have it hanging from the ceiling joists in the shop and keep forgetting about it. It looks like it will be a nice primitive with a beveled glass mirror. I don't really do things for resale any more, but this one we can always hang on the wall somewhere.

The lady did not bring over the plywood. We stopped by the house and went through it. It looks like she got a piece of prefinished plywood instead.

Daughter and family are moving out of Squim, to Idaho. She dropped of their dining room table for me to fix the veneer on the feet that the dogs have been chewing off. I re-glued 2 antique plank bottom chairs for her to take with her. They are a pair that we are letting them use for now. There is a total of 6 of the chairs. Putting their home in Port Ludlow on my main blog is taking up most of my blog space.

I just put an add in the local paper and will be out tomorrow. Hope I also pick up a couple jobs on the furniture also.

Antique ice box. A lady called and wants her ice box restored. They are moving into town and their Architect recommended me to them.

Sales I need to our daughters farm house listed in the newspaper $459,000.00 The realtor has had it for several weeks and has done nothing. They don't even have it on their web site yet. It is shown on my main web blog. I am not getting any hit on it or my furniture for sale. Maybe one a day now.

Antique Wardrobe. They called again today and ordered another 18 1/2" long self. I have put the final coat of the other one they ordered the other day. So I cut the last piece that I had the right width and cut it down to 18 1/2 " also. Then sanded and put 2 coats of stain on the and a wood edge.

Small bar stool, not small foot stool like I said before. I put the top on the bottom and belt sanded the top. I could not get all the round dark stain out of the top so I have some oxalic acid soaking on it now, hopefully to get the stain out.

Kraut cutter coffee table This is a piece I did a few years ago and it never looked very good. I painted it all brick red, except the cutting blades, then I have put a coat of black over that. Next I will use steel wool and alcohol and rub through the black here and there where normal ware would be to show some of the red. Then a couple coats of polyurethane.

Foot stool. It is now stained and with one coat of polyurethane. I do not know if it will get dry enough for another coat today.

Plastered picture frame I have been soaking it for several days and scarping the plaster off now and then. I can only soak one side at a time so it is taking a while. A couple more days and I will have it done. I still owe $4.00 for it. It has a nice beveled glass mirror. Its on spec.

A lady is to bring over a piece of plywood for me to put a finish on it. It will go in her entryway ceiling. She is the one that I did the cedar base and ceiling back plate for a light fixture the other day.

Sales I need to get that organized and get the computer work done on the pictures, the newspaper add, etc. The web blogg never has turned up any thing altho it shows that the page gets quit a few hits.

antique wardrobe.Finished, delivered and paid for. They are very happy. the additional shelving inside matched the walnut of the out side. It took two coats of stain to get it to match. The last coat was a coat of walnut jell stain. The shelving was 3/4" birth plywood with an iron on edge to cover the layers in the plywood. Anyway they want me to make one more 18" wide self which I now have done and have the stain on it. I had some extra material left over to do this with.

Small stool and upholstered foot stool I have the small stool stripped. Lot of paint on it and it is a mess. The top is in three pieces and most of the rungs are unglued. Which is ok. I still will need to scrape, re-glue it, put a finish on it. But it is made of real wood. The other piece I save all the upholstery from it so they can match the new to the old pattern. I will need to some small repairs and then do the finishing on it. I will need to look at the pictures of the rocker and chair so I can match the stain.

Daughter was to drop of a veneered round oak table to fix some veneer on the bottom that the dogs have chewed off. She call and can not make it. Maybe tomorrow.
