Moving back into town. House did not sell. He did not feel that he could physically handle the move. The title co. says that they can not give us the earnest money unless he signs a paper agreeing to it. So we have to deal with it.

More on moving temporary into the barn. Finished up with 100 ft of shelving plus floor area under the shelving in one room and moving storage boxes into the area. Will start building more shelving in another room now. Most of the misc. small items have been packed and moved that we don't use every day.
Hard to work around all the junk in the barn that has been collected for years. The people have not moved out of the house yet. They got the driveway poured and the back patio. Will still need to build a wood stairs down from the house.

Moving out to farm is in process Got 16 ft of 18" wide shelving up and loaded from home. This took two trips. I need to get some more scrape 2x4's to build more shelving. Once I rip a piece of plywood into two 18" pieces I have a 12" piece left over. So when I rip the next piece of plywood I will have 2 pieces of 18 " shelving and a 12 " piece. So I will put up the 16''of ( 12") shelving then the 2 pieces of 16" below that.
We got the first 16 ft of shelving built and filled up with boxes. It is up 6'-0" in the air. I got the combination of the two padlocks on the front doors figured out. Of the 4 combination numbers I just change the first one. Then write the combination down on the siding around the corner in case I forget. The 3rd door and combination I could not get to work. They said today that you have to jiggle around the first number some to get it open. That will help. I was not sure that I had the right number combination right to begin with.
So it has been moving a lot of other peoples stuff, trying to find some elec. power for skill saw and light. Yesterday it was a lot of sweeping out the cobweb between the joists and hay off the floor. I have most of the right tools on the job now. I had to get another skill saw blade this after noon on one of the trips home. 1/2 hour out and 1/2 hour back. We move two pick up truck load out before I started building any shelving. So we are tripping over all of that while I am trying to get the shelving built not.
I went up to the house and stole my saw horse of the front of the drive way that we are waiting fot the concrete contractor to pour. It has been raining the last few days so he could ot pout that or the patio. Hopefully they will get it Mon. It should dry 7 days before you drive on it and we would like the renters to get out before that.
We went over to the dog kennels to see how we are going to use them. It is a 4 unit dog kennel, with an 8 ft x 16 ft. conc. dog run infront to each 8 ft. x 8 ft. plywood dog house. There are 4 units with 7 ft. chain link around each one with a metal gat in front of each on.
So we hope use one of the units for storage. I have some metal Z brackets that I can put along the back of the dog houses to put long pieces of trim on them. I hope. I mowing they miss a lot of spots next to the fence etc. with the riding mowing machine. Up next to the dog houses the is some wire in the 24" grass and metal fencing. I will have to take the truck and pull that out so I can cut the 6 ft. weeds behind the dog houses to get the Z metal strips on.
The dog runs are 8 ft. wide so I can put some tarps over that to keep out the water. Maybe throw some 2z4's across the 8 ft. way with a 2 x 6 on edge down the middle so the rain will run off the tarps.
We talked to the owner tonight and we can move the horse hay outside and put a tarp over that. Then we can get that room into shape to store things in. That room is about 10 ft x 12 ft. With shelving that would be a big help. The guy down the street has a lot of scrap building material laying out in his fields. So I should be able to come up with the 2x4's I did not see any more plywood. I will have to dig around a little more. Hate to buy anything for this storage project.
Hope they get back pretty soon and get their things moved out of the barn. I plan on putting the wood shop in 1/2 of the 2 car garage up at the house. Maybe use the barn for things in the rough and for finished projects that we do not have room for in the house. That has been a problem in that I would stop working in the shop because we did not have any more room in the house for anything else. To bad I am so old.

Chimney cupboard and Slant Back cupboard. The same couple who bought the Hutch dinning table and two benches also bought these.
Garage sale. A lot of misc. household items mostly. However we did sell the house. We had not planed on trying to sell the house during the garage sale but before I got back from putting up our garage sale signs my wife had sold the house. So that sort of over shadows the garage sale.
